Goolwa Country Fire Service is a volunteer Fire & Rescue Brigade on the Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia.
Goolwa CFS is an Urban/Rural brigade on the Fleurieu Peninsula who provide a fully volunteer Fire and Rescue service to the people of Goolwa, Hindmarsh Island, parts of Middleton, Currency Creek and support to other surrounding areas. The brigade responds to approximately 150-170 calls per year, these range from structure fires, rural fires, vehicle accidents, hazardous material incidents and other calls.
The brigade aims to create a safer community by promoting education and fire prevention, fostering social inclusion and awareness of fire safety for people in the local area.
